The BM knitwear factory was founded in 1972 thanks to the tenacity of one man, Eugenio Luoni, manager of one of the top three companies in the textile sector, and his wife, Carla Bollini.
Specialized in the manufacture of woven fabrics, Mr Luoni has travelled the world for 30 years in search of new yarns and technologies. He established the company with a clear vision of the production sector in which the BM brand was to operate: children’s fashions. This became a genuine mission for BM, which increasingly specialized, becoming a market leader in just a few years.
Garments made from natural fibres (wool, cotton, linen, etc.), continuous research into well-designed, stylish fabrics, collections created with quality and practicalness in mind: these are the elements that characterise BM's products and give strength to 02 TANDEM, a leading brand in the sector.
02 TANDEM and AMERICAN RAP are, today, established brands, known at world level and recognised as symbol of high quality clothing. BM’s production takes place in various parts of the world, but all the products are checked and receive the finishing touches in Italy. the company’s research and creativity is 100% made in Italy.
Today Maglificio BM distributes in the European market about 3.000.000 pieces a year. It has a structure of 15.000 sqm and about 100 people, both direct employed and free lance, working for the company. Each one follows the different production phases: production, quality control, selling, design, research and administration.
02 TANDEM products are available to buy in the best shops specialized in children’s fashions, and in some special corners within Italian and European retail chains. The products are sold through retailers and in bulk in Italy, and exclusively through retailers outside Italy.
Our products are already on sale in Greece, Spain, Croatia, Cyprus, South Korea, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia.
